Q1. Is al-Hamid foundation a registered non-profit organisation?

ANS. Yes, it is registered as section 8 not for Profit Company with ministry of corporate affairs, government of India. With corporate identity number as U85300UP2021NPL147973.

Q2. How many directors does it have?

ANS. 02 directors currently. No additional directors or independent director yet, though our backend support team as volunteers are very active in public life and in social and public services and other fields etc.

Q3. When has it started its activities?

ANS. Since June 2021.

Q4. Who can donate?

ANS. Any individual, Business House, both in cash and kind. Account details and contact person given on website or one can contribute at our foundation head office (address given on website).

Q5. How will foundation maintain transparency and built trust and confidence of people?

ANS. We will audit our donations/contributions once or twice a year by an independent auditor, and put audit report on website. Monthly and annual report of foundations regarding its donations and contributions received and expenses and activities done by foundation for information of public. With consent of beneficiary we will try to put testimonials of beneficiaries on website.

Q6. Does director / directors or any other office bearer get remuneration?

ANS. Director/Directors are not paid remuneration. Though foundation has monthly running office expenses like technical staff for website management, fee for legal and financial advisor and auditor and other miscellaneous office expenses.

Q7.where is head office of foundation located?

ANS. It belongs to director of company who has consented to utilise her old residential house which is currently lying vacant as office till permanent office of foundation comes up.

Q8. How does foundation raise its funds?

ANS. Through online campaigns, awareness programmes, crowd sourcing, social capital of directors, advisors and volunteers of foundation. Currently foundation is not getting grant/aid from any govt. Agency, corporate house nor getting funding from some international organisation or entity.

Q9. what activities does foundation currently does?

ANS. Since its inception in June 2021 provided free food packets to poor families at religious places, streets, on roads and villages/localities inhabited by poor and marginalised. Installed water purifiers and coolers in few educational institutes. Monetary help to some poor people for meeting health and medical expenses and financial help to some poor girls for arranging marriage expenses.

Q10. Does this foundation have a future road map?

ANS. Yes. In future we plan to expand our activities in field of health and medical education, nursing and other technical and research field, academics, microfinance, orphanages and old age homes, agriculture and food security, microfinance, art culture and environmental preservation etc.

Q11. Is donation given to Al-Hamid Charitable Foundation, Eligble for Tax Foundation ?

ANS. No, not yet.

Q12. What is proof of donation?

ANS. The proof of donation depends on how one donates e.g. counterfoil given to donor in case donation received in cash through receipt book.

Net banking/online fund transfer : extract generation. We will send you online acknowledgement receipt in case you share your mobile or mail address.

Q13. How many accounts does Al-Hamid Charitable Foundation hold ?

ANS. Only one account number in canara bank as on date details given on website.
